The tread pattern of the W speed rating (270 km/h) Nokian Nordman SZ, which is designed for sporty vehicles, is pleasantly precise even at higher speeds. The multi-layered Cool Zone tread structure offers a quicker steering response than traditional rubber compounds, ensuring precise road feel for cornering, lane changes and evasions alike. The wear-resistant rubber compound is developed for ultra high performance use and provides good wet grip at all temperatures.

The tread pattern of the V speed rating (240 km/h) Nokian Nordman SZ offers comprehensive safety, ensuring a stable and comfortable driving feel even on grooved roads. The narrow, directional grooves and special water guides effectively remove water from the contact surface, thereby preventing aquaplaning. The Silent Groove Design innovation ensures quieter driving comfort. Both tread patterns feature the Driving Safety Indicator, aquaplaning indicator and info field for added safety and comfort.
